Coupling in TuMeke refers to grip strength and how you hold an object. To assess it:
- Good: You can’t improve the way you hold the object if you could. E.g. a box has handles and a person is holding it with both hands firmly.
- Fair: Not an ideal way of holding an object and can be improved. E.g. a box doesn’t have handles and a person is holding it on the sides.
- Poor: Not recommended way of holding an object. E.g. grabbing a box with no handles with one hand.
That being said, the impact on the overall score is limited (+1). The primary focus should be on understanding task risks, as coupling alone won't significantly affect the score.
